Dervish
everyone keeps saying that the dervish are w/mo when ther not. there mo/w. mo/w dont have great armor and use protection to keep there selfs alive. well at least my mo/w does. When dervish tank in order to keep themselfs alive they are going to need alot of energy and there health is probly the same as and character not ment to be tanking.

Dervishes are neither mo/w or w/mo, they will be different. More like a W/Rt, hopefully, using "weapons" skills to boost armor and stuff. Thats what I think dervishes will be.

Perhaps Dervishes will be their own. Not like any other class.

Anyone heard that only Core proffesions are having additional skills/armors in future chapters?
For example. Nightfall will not introduce new Assassin or Ritualist armors, but will for new prof's and Core prof's.
If that is the case then these new professions will be countered extremely easy with core proffesions being armed to the teeth with a super-wide array of skills...
Just wondering if thats true

in my opinion the dervish will be like not 1 not 2 but 3 classes mixed into one i think it is going to be a warrior/ ritualist/ elementalist
this is because i believe it will be a melee char with weapon skills and enchanments with AoE dmg aroung the dervish due to using a big scythe in a sweeping motion

Wow you guys are annoying me lol. A Dervish is a Dervish. Besides you don't know how it will play in Guild Wars nor have you seen any of the skills... so you're all iceskating uphill.

Like natuxatu said, ur totally judging the class before ANYTHING has been announced. I also agree w/ the iceskating uphill, although I'd like to add, iceskating uphill with rollerblades.

As with all the past classes and the Chapter 2 classes, everyone is unique. You really can't compare the Dervish to a W/Mo or Mo/W because you'll be able to even make them D/Mo or D/W. In the end just have fun with whatever combo you enjoy playing with.

my initial thought is that they'd be more like assassin/monks. melee class character with poor armour and a need for self heals.
i realized i was just jumping to conclusions though.
